Unfair banning

Aright so we all know 2k is a very toxic gaming community and people re going to text and talk all sorts of mean things , so i would say stop doing this or that because we are loosing . And some people take it to another level and curse me out 99% of the
time i pay no mind to it but the one time i defend myself online i get banned the man sent me a message saying kys and i simply said it right back then he proceed to report me tell his friend ( i know its his friend because we they where in a party invited
me i joined then left ) his friend goes off on me let it slide for about 10 min of him texting me he says kys i say it back the next morning i wake up trying to play my park and i am banned so unnless all three of us are banned there is no justification

UNFAIR BANNING

It does not matter who starts the conversation if you violate the code of conduct you are subject to an enforcement action.

It is not an automated thing every report is investigated by a person and if there was a violation of the code of conduct then there would be an enforcement action taken against the account.

Even if you do not use profanity depending on what is said it could still be construed as harassment and would be a violation of the code of conduct.

In a situation like this in the future it would be best to report the other player and then block and mute them.

If you feel that you should not have been suspended you can file a case review by signing in at enforcement.xbox.com and filing for a case review there.

The enforcement team does not monitor these forums so the only way to contact them is through their website.

 

Unfair banning

recently I got banned for a reason I think was guess I got mad at a team mate. I understand it but It was instantly done after I made the message. But yet I had multiple people send me death threats and Enforcement team never did anything to them and one
time banned me for telling someone who wanted to kill my family that I was gonna call the cops. I'm getting sick of these unfair bans but yet hackers and toxic people will be free to do whatever they want.

 

Did you report them back? If so there's a good chance they've received a suspension as well.

It's best to block, ignore and laugh it off knowing people only act like that because they're hiding behind their console.

 

Yep, don't respond to people who send you messages, just report and block and move on. If you "fight fire with fire" it usually ends up with you getting banned.

I know its wrong, but that's the way it is I'm afraid.

I had a similar situation the other day, playing BF1 I was on a pom pom shooting planes (purely because I'm not great at taking flags, but I can at least help by killing bombers etc) this bloke starts sending me texts saying I'm a noob and have no skill
and I should get off the pom pom and help "the cause".

This same bloke then jumps in front of the pom pom so I cant use it.

I could have responded and mouthed off, but the best thing is block and report.

 

Do a search and you'll find that PAID provoctures, (spelling) who can't be banned, are all over, not only social media, but every form of online gaming as well. Ubi and others is even rumored to have setup lobbies where you randomly join into a Marry Poppings
and even if you don't sky walk and exit the game, your banned for even taking part in the game.

 

Also... Bigfoot is real! The internet has enlightened us all. lol
