    Unfair ban + how long will it last?


    My gamertag :

    The user named "Smky Vq" sent me an abusive message ingame while he was griefing.

    I sent him an abusive message afterwards, wich led to my ban.

    I wanted to ask how I can know if the ban is permanent and what I can do about it.

    Many abusive messages with swearing were sent to me but the people who sent them didnt get banned.

    It is my first ban and I dont think that I did anything wrong.

    Unfair profile ban

    3 days ago I tried to play Titanfall 2 and the multiplayer function was restricted. I checked Battlefield 1 and had the same problem, saying that I had 'missing multiplayer privileges'. I do not own a headset and do not message people, and I play games
    properly. I haven't broken any rules. I also haven't been notified that I had received some sort of ban, what it was for, or how long the duration of the ban is. Is there any way for me to find out why I received the ban, and to hopefully get it lifted?

    Unfair ban

    You never said you backed out instantly & in your other thread you stated that you stayed in long enough to take a screenshot which isn't backing out instantly.

    As you have been told,if you have filed for a case review & the decision was upheld then there is nothing you can do.

    These things are thoroughly investigated before any enforcement action is issued,if you filed for a case review then it has been investigated twice.

    Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums.

    You sent someone an abusive message so you did do something wrong.Doesn't matter who starts it,if you respond in a way that violates the ToU/CoC then you risk enforcement action.

    Just report & block anyone sending abusive messages & they will be investigated.

    You have no way of knowing if these people get suspended or not if you have reported them.

    Sometimes you might get a thank you message but this doesn't happen often,usually you are never told the results of any report you file.

    An email was sent to the address linked to your account telling how long you are suspended for or you can check on the enforcement site
    here where you can also file for a case review if eligible.

    The enforcement team don't use the forums so no one here can do anything.

    How long would the ban be? Because it would be unfair for users who didn't know to get a perm ban for it.

    You should receive an email message, if the ban is for more than 24 hours you can ask for a review. This info and much more can be found in the link provided in the first reply.
