  1. Unexpected permissions popup when signing into microsoft account in Xbox Insider Hub on Win 10

Disclaimer: I hope I’m in the right place here, I was directed to another forum by a Microsoft employee that I was chatting with - where I was told to go here instead. Apparently this is the place for support on the Xbox Insider Hub app for Windows 10.

So I've gotten alpha access to Sea of Thieves (yay) and was instructed to use the Xbox Insider Hub app for Windows 10.

I installed it via the Microsoft store and then proceeded to sign into my microsoft account. After a successful login there, I'm presented with a permissions popup that states:

"Flight Dashboard needs your permission to: "Sign in to xbox live and access..." So it doesn't refer to "Xbox Insider Hub", but to "Flight Dashboard".

An extensive search session online didn't provide me with any info regarding this dialog. It feels untrustworthy to just give "Flight Dashboard" permissions even though the "Xbox Insider Hub" is clearly triggering this behaviour (i've done the process up
to this point several times now). If I do not give access, the app can't continue. So I haven't been able to install Sea of Thieves yet.

I guess my question is if this permissions dialog is correct and trustworthy when installing Xbox Insider Hub on Windows 10 from the Microsof store, as it asks for permissions for "Flight Dashboard" and not for "Xbox Insider Hub”.

    Thanks, and best regards,

    Gerben van Dijk

Not able to sign into insider hub or access to the store etc

I have struggled signing into Xbox live, I can not access the store nor look through community feed or one guide. It's also taken me 10 minutes to finally sign into insider hub

No way to connect phone streaming app to Xbox One.

I would recommend checking if you signed into the same account on the streaming app as you have the insider hub or if your in project cloudx it should let you, when i tryed the app and logged in with insider hub it wouldn't let me stream my xbox
apps because it was not in my ring region yet so that could be the problem.
I used only one Microsoft account ever for 20 years since Hotmail, so there is no option B for login. :)

I used same LIVE account on Games for Windows Live, Windows Phone, Win 8, 10, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Streaming can't work either way if you don't use same account as on Xbox One in this case.

I can't get out of the Minecraft Windows 10 Beta

Let me explain. Minecraft was bought in the Microsoft Store using a different account. Then that account signed out and my account signed in. I am 100% certain that I bought the full version of Minecraft Windows 10.

(EDIT) Also, it's the DEVELOPMENT beta, like the Xbox Insider Hub beta.
