Hi Wild,

There was a service issue that was causing messaging issues, that was resolved a short time ago. See the posts from

Xbox Support on Twitter, for more information.

"Posted 3 hours ago: We have received word that people should now be able to send messages on Xbox Live. Thank you for reporting
this to us, and as always, we're here and listening!"

Please be mindful when making decisions if you are ever enrolled in the Xbox Preview Program - just up and leaving will not fix issues, until a new build is released.

If there is nothing listed then the console you are on is not enrolled in the preview program.

Update:

It does look like there is another issue with messaging, that Xbox Support on Twitter have been posting about and that the relevant teams are currently addressing. More

Did you do a soft reset ?

If you bought a used console you can only unenroll from the profile that enrolled

You can however use the insiders app from a windows 10 machine with the said profile

But you can also do a hard factory reset

Could you explain more so i can
