Unenroll from preview program on Xbox360

Discus and support Unenroll from preview program on Xbox360 in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have no access to the Preview forums still, but it seems inconsequential at this point.     Unenroll from preview program on Xbox360


    I have no access to the Preview forums still, but it seems inconsequential at this point. I need to have my account removed from the Preview program entirely; I have a different issue and Xbox Support suggested that my account having Preview status may be
    causing it to glitch. This has gone on since Dec 5th.



    I've never actually intended to be part of the program- I think my son or husband enrolled me- so my console was never registered. I only own a 360, and as the app does not exist on there, I can't remove myself that way. Xbox Support agents can't do anything
    either, apparently. I tried checking the Account settings on my Dashboard, but "Xbox 360 Preview Registration" is greyed out because my account is technically already a Preview member. Of course no amount of cache clearing or profile deleting/redownloading
    has actually fixed anything, since according to the agent, it's a status linked to my account at the Microsoft level. I've been on the phone for over 5 hours over the course of nearly a week trying to fix this and the agents can't do anything.



    This is really frustrating me, I'm really tired of dealing with this and I just want my account out of the Preview program entirely, please.

    I do not want to receive beta updates

    If not wanting to participate in the preview program anymore you can use the preview dashboard app to unenroll yourself from the program.

    Just start the app, go to registrations and change the status of your console there.

    Please be aware that your unenrolling will be pending until the current wave gets public as you cannot be released during a rolling wave. So once the October preview is rolled out finally you will then be unenrolled from the preview program.

    Are you in the preview program by any chance?

    I had this the other day after an update. When I checked, I had been in the preview program. Unenrolling fixed it. Best thing to do would be to unenrol from the program and see if the problem persists. Bare in mind that after you unenrol, you will have to
    run through the initial setup of your xbox again.

    Of course you can unenroll your console from the program.

    Just take the dashboard preview app and change the registration status of your console and you will be unenrolled from the program once the current wave had gone public.

    If you are getting forced downloads, then you are probably in the Xbox Preview program. To stop them, you can unenroll the console from the program using the insider hub app, which you can download from the store. Once downloaded, start the app, then
    go to settings and unenroll the console.

    As ForzaDrift Girl mentioned if you are part of the preview program this may be part of the problem.

    If so try unenrolling from preview and see if this fixes your problem.
