Understanding game's account activation

Hi all,

I'm an xbox newby. I'm having problems in understanding and maintaing the right account under which a game is running.

On my new One I set up an adult account and two kids account with parental control (at least my aim was that).

The problem is that, eve though selecting one of the kid account, each time a game starts it switches directly on my account.

Can anyone help in understanding what is going wrong? Thanks in advance !

Well my thinking is that I could sell or lend the game freely.

As I understand it now, if I sold my game disk to my mate and he tries to play it on his console with his account, the system will recognise that it is still linked to my account and would basically ask my mate to pay for the game as if it was new. It would be great if he could deactivate it on his console but that may cause other issues with theft. It would be better if I deactivate it first and so the game disk is unoccupied. Your mate still pays for the disc from you and then you use the gift system so it activates on his console and deactivates from yours. Am I missing something?

If you have the system with Kinect and have the sensor set up to recognize you then it game will automatically default to whoever is holding the controller when the game is started.

I got a little annoyed with that and chose to turn off the auto recognition of people in the Settings>Kinect menu.

If you do that you'll be able to select a profile and start up a game without issue.

So is that it, I have lost my account with no right to appeal the ban?

Hundreds if not thousands of people are playing saved games or nodding games.so I don't understand why their account is still active and mines not

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is a question in regards to the Xbox Ultimate Game Pass. You will have access to the

Xbox Game Pass Library. As long as the subscription is active, the game license will be active on the Xbox account.

Ok I understand trials wont stack or overwrite an active subscription, but what if I'm using a different account at the moment of activation and that console is not "My home console".
