Understand a rule was broken but should of check who reported it first

I got a one day suspension after playing for 4 years, by someone who I was trying to warn about a player only to realize the person in question was friend with the guy I was trying to warn. Now the message I sent was "**** is in the bunker" because I was
playing GTA online and the in game phone system did not work properly for me and the guy was griefing. Now i understand I did break the rule but it a bit hypocritical for Xbox to do so since there are people using every work in the dictionary that is classified
as a swear/cuss word that are not banned. All I am saying is it would be a good idea to do a background check on the person who report in case they have done this numerous time to enforce rule breaking especially since there was 5 of these group of friend
and one was the attacker. it like the phrase safety first in the community

just because it wasn't reported before doesn't mean it wasn't in violation

It just wasn't reported before

The rules has always been the same

You wjll have to review the code of conduct to see what rule you broke

You can also check the email associated with your ms account

 

My account has been banned and I have broke no rules I spoke to someone from Xbox live chat

i have been banned and I have not broke any rules Someone who does not like me made plenty of accounts and reported me for everything can I have my account unbanned

A violation of the terms of use is a violation of the terms of use

Keep it clean it is that simple

 

How do you know these other people haven't been suspended for swearing?

You may get a thank you message but that is extremely rare & will never tell you who got suspended due to a report you filed.Other than that you are not told anything.

Just follow the
Code of Conduct, it is that simple.
