Unbroken xbox 360 warranty seal for xbox one promotion

I was considering doing that xbox one promotion where you trade in your xbox 360 for a $100 credit towards the xbox one. The only thing I was a little worried about was the unbroken warranty seal. My xbox 360 has been repaired, by Microsoft themselves
I assume, unless they contracted it out, and I was wondering, do they break the seal when they fix your console? Or is the seal only broken by users messing around on the insides of their console? Because I have never done any messing around with mine.

Xbox Controller Repair?

As long as the repair seal is unbroken you should have 90 day grace period. This address will show you were to send it.

Xbox One warranty seal

That means your xbox was opened before, it you can see the stars it's out of warranty. Also, for the xbox one the cost of a reparation of the console(replace) is now 75% the cost of a new one, better buy another one.

 

If you've never cracked yours open then you'll be fine. The repair center has a way of telling if someone other than themselves have repaired a console.
