Unbalanced teams

It seems like more than half the games I play, we start off with an unbalanced teams. That wouldn't be so bad if it just filled up the teams evenly or consistently, but it doesn't. Two perfect examples just tonight.

My team is down 4 players to 5 players for the first half of a game of Attrition. Half way through someone joins - ON THE OTHER FREAKING TEAM - to make it 4 vs. 6. It can't find a single additional person after that to put on our team. Not one.

Playing last Titan Standing. 4 vs. 4. My team wins the first three rounds. Right at the end of the third round, two more people join. It puts them on the other team. Now it's 4 on 6. In almost any game mode, down by two people, you're going to lose. It's
particularly bad in LTS. We wait it out....lose the next round, lose the next round, lose the next round, finally we back out because at the start of the last round it STILL hasn't found a single person to put in our game on our team.

This seems to happen all the time after they changed the match making, and they need to fix it. It's beyond frustrating.

You've got to be dead and in the spawning screen for it to work. Just suicide or go jihad against a tank then switch.

Im sure i am dead when i try , the only time i check the score is when im dead , thats when i notice the teams and try to switch.....at least i think it is ha ha ill give it another go next time im on

 

I agree with you. I've had the same things happen many times.

There's another issue too. Sometimes in an player slot in a lobby you see "Connecting..." which means a player is about to join, but sometimes you see "Loading...". I have no idea what "Loading..." denotes, but when the countdown gets to 10 seconds and the
teams are shuffled, that "Loading..." slot counts as a player, so again you can end up with 5 on one team versus 3 + "Loading..." on the other, as the game thinks that's 5 Vs. 4. I played a game of LTS tonight where "Loading..." filled up a slot on my team
throughout the whole match and into the next lobby as well.

 

Parties mess up matchmaking alot too. Need more Merc modes/lobbies ONLY.

 

I played a lot of COD as well, and they never had a problem this bad. Teams were always filled much more quickly. I'm not exaggerating, more than half my games are with lop sided teams for most or all of the game. And in Titanfall, being short handed is
a much greater handicap to overcome.

This all started when they rolled out that skill based match making.

 

I think that the whole matchmaking issues with TF are the single biggest problem the game has - I am still going for the "win 50 of each match" achievements but it is taking forever because of exactly the same issue as explained in the OP
