    I Just Redeemed A 1 Month Gold Membership And I Cancelled The Automatic Payments Through Paypal Well Microsoft Took The Payment Anyways Making It An Unauthorized Transaction And I Tried Deleting My Paypal Account Through My Xbox profile and I cant I Know
    1 Thing There Needs To be A Refund And My Paypal Account Needs To be Removed This is an ongoing issue with this and it needs to stop seriously.

    Just today, I checked my PayPal account, and noticed four transactions on December 24, and December 25. They are as followed

    I didn't authorize a single one of those payments, so I immidiately disputed all of those. At first, I thought this was for sure a phishing company, but just to make sure, I went on my Xbox Live account myself.

    I found out that I couldn't access my account as some jackass changed the password. I immidiately recovered my account, and changed the password, making it ridiculously strong.

    This idiot apparently made expensive transactions totalling $250 to my PayPal account.

    I would like you to do the following things

    *Cancel those transactions immidiately. They were made by someone else

    *Investigate this situation

    *Take legal action against this scammer

    I cannot accept this

    Sorry to hear it. A payment method cannot be removed while you are in Gold status. However, seeing as how your issue is a billing issue you would need to contact phone support and deal with them on this. 1-800-469-9269 or click the link to arrange a call

    It sounds like you were billed and renewed before redeeming the code. Contact Xbox Support. They should work with you and get you all fixed up.

    I recommend to try the following link, request a refund for a purchase,
    which will detail how to make a refund request for review by our refund team. Be sure to sign in to and submit your request from the account that was used to make the purchase. You'll need to provide the order number for each item and can be found by signing
    in to your Microsoft account.

    If you have any questions regarding the refund, I further recommend, as the Ambassadors have, that you
    contact Xbox Support by requesting a call back or chat so that they can help guide you. Sadly, we here on the forums lack the tools necessary to directly help with any billing
    or refund issues.

    • Log into Support.Xbox.com
    • Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
    • Step 2 : Select a Category, then See other options
    • Step 3 : Select your Issue/Topic
      • Select - Show contact options
      • Select – Call me back or chat with Xbox Support

    If you do not see the selection that you wish to use for contact, then switch topics until it becomes available as the selections may change from time to time.

    Please let us know the results.
