Unauthorized charges on my bank account

When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----click on Contact us
  
• Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
  
• Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next
  
  Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

On the page, you will get the step-by-step process on how to manage the cancelation of your subscription.

Turning off recurring billing will stop renewal charges for a subscription and will give you its benefits until its expiration date.

Please be reminded that not all subscription charges can be refunded.

If you are eligible to get a refund for your subscription, you will have the option for it on the process of cancelation.

With regards to this charge you received, have you tried checking on your account to see if there are any records of the same charge? You may check the order history of your account via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders page.

You may also check if you somehow have any recurring subscription on your account by going to the services tabs. As sometimes, there are instances where the recurring bill of the subscription is still on and it will try to charge you. If there are no records showing on your account, if you remember having other email addresses I suggest to also check it and login on the same page. If there are really no charges showing on all your accounts, what I suggest is to contact the bank instead to have it disputed.

If you don't have an account at all then you'll need to contact your bank to get a new card and cancel that one, fraud is handled by banks, not retailers.

If you have an account and those are unauthorized charges then you can contact phone support to file an Unauthorized Access case.

If you have an account and those purchases were made by someone in your home, like a child, then enjoy your content as it's not unauthorized.

If you don't have an Xbox and have never made any purchases from Microsoft, it's possible that the charge may be the result of fraudulent activity. In this case, it's important to take action to secure your account and prevent any further unauthorized charges. You may also contact your bank to dispute the charge as unauthorized purchase.
