    Unauthorised purchases


    I added my debit card onto xbox to pay for xbox live gold so I could play warzone with a friend, whilst I was at work my 4 year old would jump on and play roblox, 3 days after adding my card details I check my bank to find multiple transactions to Microsoft totaling £480.

    I know this happens to thousands of parents and I do take part of the blame, but why can we never get a refund?

    I got in contact with roblox and also my bank but they both told me to contact Microsoft - I spoke to Microsoft over the phone and they directed me to the refund page I read many forums online and again got re directed to the refund page. So I put in the refund for all unauthorised purchases. Out of 26 purchases they refunded me only 3 Which came to £25.

    We are in the middle of a pandemic I am struggling enough as it is, I just cannot believe they've taken all the money out of my bank and given me no explanation as to why I'm not eligible for the refunds only that i do not meet the terms and conditions which wasn't even linked to read.

    Its so hard to get in contact to anyone from Microsoft all you can do is email and wait 72 hours for a reply that does not help your situation, they said on the phone you can reply to the email but they just email you back saying case closed. No wonder why this is a multi million company they got dead ends at all contact and take all your money.

    So is there anyone out there that can still help me or is everything I said wrapped up to be the truth.

    Thanks for your reply and I understand what you are saying however.... The in game credits were not used (the pizza wasn't eaten) and how could they refund me 3 purchases but not the rest? (they took back 3 slices but not the rest)

    Sincerely in this situations the best option is
    ask your mobile provider a refund.
    Because it seems that someone is using your payment information without your knowledge/authorization if the order number doesn't appear on your Microsoft account order history

    To avoid this situation again, I can advice you to ask them to block incoming charges from Microsoft

    Explain the situation, and they can access to your billing and so helping you
