"Unauthorised Access"

Hi there,

Im Ash, I came home to find a Console ban on my xbox 360 as I work away. I put on the forums why so they could investigate, I was told that I have used soemones details or something. However I work away and was nowere near my console, for about 3 week
as the incident appeared. I id get theatenign messgaes taht someone was gunna hack me and get my console banned. I was told that they can do this an use my Ip or soemthing like that (dont know much about taht stuff) and taht they can have unauthorised access
to do this on and basically set me up.

Now i have proof that i was away when this happened. And you guys should see these messages on my xbox account and see hwo this is all related. Hope you can sort it. Thanks

If you don´t know why you got banned you have to post here:

If you think someone else got into your profile then you have to call support and ask for a investigation of unauthorized access.

They can look into it and tell you if someone got into your account or not.

If you read it, youll find that i found out why i was banned, but it wasnt me. So someone has stolen my profile, then done what they have and then got my console banned!

If you read ALL of what HaloJolly wrote, you'll see that she said to call support and ask them to open an unauthorized access case. They will investigate and if they find that you were indeed not in control of your profile then they will take the appropriate
action. Since this is a console ban they probably already know that it was the right console to ban.

under that page you can look under console check and put in the number where the usb's are. and it will say why it was banned

but on the you were not the problem I cant say what to do

If you believe that your account has been accessed by an unauthorised 3rd party you can contact support and request an unauthorised access case and investigation to be carried out on your account. As you say the time stamp shows the purchased happened
while you were logged into your account and playing actively the unauthorised purchase must have taken place on the webstore or app. If you check your login history from the security tab on
account.microsoft.com you can see if your account was accessed from a new location at that time.

You should be aware that during an unauthorised access case your account will be locked out for up to 7 days while they carry out the investigation.

If after the investigation is complete and they find your account was accessed by a 3rd party they can refund you for the unauthorised purchase
