Unauthoized Charges to my son's phone

Hi - I can't find a specific way to handle this issue. We had 5 unauthorized Microsoft Store purchases (279.00 with seconds) on one of our Verizon iPhones today. We quickly called Verizon, which said they cannot take any action until the existing month's bill is produced and don't have a process to flag and report fraud. They did show how how to block phone purchases, but said to work with the Microsoft store to research and request a refund. There is no record of any purchases on any Microsoft app on our phones, nor our Xbox (unaffiliated with the phone), I believe our phone or phone number was hacked. I am not sure what to do to ensure those charges don't become permanent and if Microsoft or Verizon can open an investigation on who may have done this.

P.S This is not on my account nor anywhere expect on my Verizon bill. How do I get these charges reverse. They were purchase as a 3rd part and using my sons phone number.

That’s the problem Verizon told me to call Microsoft and vs versa. I’ve decided to speak to a lawyer. There were 10 transactions with just one minute all for the purchase of nba and ops video games

Under my number. Someone will have to answer. I will close my account with both companies since no one will help. In addition I will file a police report tomorrow.

I received a email on Saturday stating that $150 was charged to my childs phone number on Verizon. Verizon does not have a way to dispute charges & states have to contact Microsoft. We don't even have XBox accounts in the house.

There does not seem to be a way to speak to anyone at Microsoft.

If you have already checked all Microsoft accounts and you can't seem to locate the charge, you're correct that it can be a fraudulent charge and you may need to dispute the charge to Verizon.

ok you should phone 1800 4my xbox. Tell them you want to file unauthoize access claim and prove them email and info about your account. 2. please review the rules before accepting them.
