    Unable to view downloaded movie


    I use xbox video on my Lenovo laptop (yoga 13) with Windows 8. I have a few movies that I have downloaded with the intention of watching later. For a few of them (not all) I keep getting an error code when I try to open the file using the Xbox video app
    'Can't play movie you have used up downloads for this item. To redownload buy it again.' the error code 0xc101a7d3 comes up. I would appreciate any help in figuring out how I can watch these downloaded movies without me having to buy them again using a different
    movie service provider.

    Would I be able to okay games I bought on xbox live (games on demand) in the new xbox one like they are linked to my account so, when I get the xbox one I can sign in on my account and download the games I bought

    The only thing that will be available to view on Xbox one are your downloaded movies and music.

    Thanks very much, to clarify. You're unable to access any movie you try correct? Where are you going on the console to view the movies and what steps are you taking to get there. Can you give us an example of one or two movies that you're unable to access
    as well?

    We'd like to try and reproduce this issue and that will help us do so.

    Years ago you could log in online to watch movies you purchased. Now with movies anywhere that’s seems to be a solution but it’s also a problem. Why can’t I watch my purchases?

    Digital movies purchased form the Microsoft store are only streamed to your console, there is no download option so you require a connection to view them.

    On a Windows 10 PC you can use the Movies and TV app to download them for offline viewing.
