Unable to use Xbox Live Gold Code.

Hi,

I have been trying to redeem an Xbox Live Code on my account all day with no success.

I was first receiving the XBOS1005 error. After an hour long chat on Xbox Support, that error went away.

Now I receive the XbosPurchase error.

I have tried to enter it on my console and receive an error saying how 'This code isn't valid. Please enter a valid code'. I have made sure that the code was correct.

Also, the code is indeed valid and activated as the website is able to recognize it: [View:http://i.imgur.com/4spwLBi.png:550:669]

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Xbox One Preview member, Evolve Alpha code doesn't work

Hey everyone!

The Evolve Alpha code requires a Xbox Live Gold membership, without a Gold Membership you will be unable to use the Evolve Alpha code. If you already have a Gold Membership and are unable to use the code please let us know. Thanks!

Cant use my gold membership

hi there. Yesturday i bought a 3 month xbox live gold membership and redeemed the code but i am still unable to use any xbox live gold features such as starting parties and playing online

You can also check to see if any of these steps apply to you

Finally, if you can't find any help there you should contact support again as it may be a billing issue that is preventing you from using the code.

I got contacted by Advocacy and seems there was a problem with either my account or the code. I was sent a replacement code.

Hmm any stores near you that sell xbox live products?

They would have Pre paid gold codes that you would be able to use.

But no, you will be unable to buy a Xbox live Gold Subscription with microsoft points, it seems the shop is ill-informed.

It's correct that you cannot use your account balance to purchase Xbox Live Gold, however despite what you were told we are unable to pass out Xbox Live Gold codes over the forums.
