unable to use pomotion code

i am un able to redeem a code from a xbox live it was a promotional code for $90.00 dollars

i recive the messege on my xbox console on 03/31/2016 at 3:56 pm the messege states

that i can redeem the code before 11/04/2016 but when i tryed to redeem it i could not so

i called the support line and was told that the code has expiered something i was not made

aware of.

unable to use code

i bought a 3month xbox live gold code from gamestop a couple of hours ago, but the xbox cant fint the code or something like that it says.What should I do?

Hey, elbuenmoji98! If the code is expired, we are unable to replace that code. It's likely that the date was put in backwards (like most of the world does their dates), and the real date was 4/11. Would you please send me a private message with the code

You should receive the code by July 31. If you don't have it by that date, you'll want to post back here.

Can you please post the 8 digit error code that you receive when trying to use the code on the console?

If you get a message saying that it is a wrong code then you could be entering it wrong. Sometimes 8 can be mistaken for B or 0 for O.
