I already contacted chat support about this however everytime I try to buy that avatar on the console. I only have the option to use my credit card. I tried to click confirm and no split purchase or notification that popped up that I can use my Microsoft points.

Is this item can be bought with CSV?

    :)

Why do I need to use my credit card for purchase of avatar props?

Hello! I have tried to purchase avatar props and avatar costumes from the Avatar Store via the Xbox One console and Xbox Avatars app on my Windows 10 laptop. I have Xbox currency, which I purchased via Xbox currency cards, on my account and would like to
spend said currency on avatar items. However, I am not given an option to purchase avatar props with the Xbox currency; I am forced to use my credit card. Is there a way I can spend my Xbox currency on avatar items? Thank you for your time!

I have been trying to redeem via the website. I think I will try by the console to see if that helps

unable to use local currency to purchase an avatar on the xbox one.

If you're region is not the same as the marketplace for the marketplace for which this item is from (United States) you won't be able to purchase this item. In order to buy it you need to have US currency.

  5. the local currency I have purchased matches with my console's locale. plus I'm able to see my CSV on my account before making the purchase. despite having that on my account. I'm still not able to purchase it. Basically it's forcing me to use my credit

Need latest info on Silver membership acc

If the currency is on his current account and he wants to access it he will need to change the region to the one the currency is for.

If he is planning on purchasing another currency card locally then he can create a new Silver account to put it on and purchase items with. However he must be aware that the item he sees on the UK marketplace may not be available on his local marketplace.

Any DLC (except avatar items) can be shared among profiles.

Xbox Live Points on Xbox One

Yes, credit which you used on the 360 can also be used on the Xbox One. Note that Microsoft Points have been transitioned into local currency. Sometime within the near future you should see your points convert into local currency for your region (in most
cases, US dollars). The local currency can be used to make purchases from the Xbox One.

Unable to use my local currency

These purchases - have they been via Xbox.com? If so, the web store does not yet actually support the currency stored in your account as a payment method.

It should be working from the console. If the $3.51 is more than enough to complete a transaction, the option to choose it becomes available. If it is not enough, you have to choose something else but it will draw money from the Microsoft account first and
only charge to the other payment method whatever was left outstanding.
