Unable to use chat support

Hi everyone!

I'm having trouble contacting Xbox Support via chat or requesting a callback because when I log in, the fields where my first name and surname should be are blank and greyed out and I can't change them. All I see is my e-mail address.

I've logged into my account and checked to see if there's anything missing but it's not. My name is there. I even checked from my Microsoft account point of view...everything seems fine.

Is there anything I can do about this? I've attached a screenshot below.

Hi Sudharshangame,

As far as I know, the chat support pulls that information from your Microsoft Account's billing information. You can change/update that at Sign in to your Microsoft account

as it auto picks the name details from the signed in account.

but in my case it does take the email well, but the first and the last name fields are blank.

usually this data is fetched from the Microsoft Account. if you login at account.live.com you might be able to specify your name. I'm uncertain if that will result in actually seeing your name in those fields, but if it fails please try to get the contact
