Unable to use a valid working credit card

Hi,

I contacted Microsoft support for about 6 times. I have a valid working credit card. (confirmed by my bank).

For some strange reason I can not use it with Microsoft. I can pay with this card with many different company's without issues. Accept for Microsoft. Every time I call the helpdesk they are not helping the continue my live subscription but they do not resolve
the problem. They do not know what they are talking about. Finally a Swedish helpdesk girl came to the conclusion that my card was banned and never can be used again. That is totally stupid because according to my bank there is no reason to reject my card.
And also given the fact I can use it with google etc. So now the conclusion. I, a customer who want to spend money. I am not able to and have to spend many hours on the phone with helpdesk people and have to request a new credit card with a new number to actually
spend money, this because Microsoft **** things up! I also tried to pay directly with a debit card but this also does not work with MS. Very frustrating....

I think I am going to sell all my Microsoft devices and software . Buy an apple and a PlayStation. This is poorest service ever....

I there is someone within MS who takes this serious.........

Can you use a Gift Card to Buy Xbox Live?

Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to use stored credit from Xbox gift cards as a valid payment option for XBL Gold. This is due to the automatic renewal (which is on by default) requiring a valid credit card or Paypal account.

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately a debit card is not a valid payment option for the service. Please try to add a valid credit card or paypal to use as an alternate payment method.
