Discus and support unable to update ?? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; got home from work, tried 2 unwind with gta, and xbl needs an update, i tried 7 times and each time halfway though i get " there was a problem with...     unable to update ??


    got home from work, tried 2 unwind with gta, and xbl needs an update, i tried 7 times and each time halfway though i get

    " there was a problem with the update

    source os : lists a bunch of numbers

    target os : more numbers

    console id : again numbers

    error codes : 0x8B05000f 0x00000000 0x900D0007

    i tried searching the error codes here using the error code search function, but zero results :{

    The same thing is happening to me. unable to update ?? :p I think it is just xbox live having problems, not your internet or system.

    yep, this is happening to me as well. i've also seen other threads with the exact same problem. perhaps it's something to do with the update itself.

    i'd just contact microsoft at this point

    I'm sorry to hear you're having a issue trying to install a game update. Which console do you currently own? The XBOX 360 Slim E 4GB, XBOX 360 Slim E 250GB, Original XBOX360 arcade or elite?

    -

    Have you gone to Settings > Storage or Memory depending on console > Games > Halo 4 > Any corrupt content? If so please delete it. Have you tried powering off the console and removing the hard drive? If not, please do so and then reconnect the hard drive
    and try the update. If that fails and you have a USB storage device, configure it to the console by plugging it into one of the ports on the front and see if the update will download on the USB device, without the hard drive connected. Check out
