I factory reset the xbox one the update of 3gb downloaded and onstalled after which its trying to download further updates but oa not able to the connection is great it keeps telling me there was a problem or there is a problem at your end so please need
some.help urgent reply would be appreciTed

Xbox website is not updating my recent activity on XboxOne

Hello,

I usually manage my profile from Xbox.com website but the website is not updating that i'm on XboxOne now and still showing my last Xbox360 activity from 11/21 i'm also having problem blocking my profile on the XboxOne it seems like i'm unable to block it
and is currently accessible by anybody even though i blocked it from XboxOne settings .Please advise on how to block my profile on XBoxOne and update the website information .

power cycle your console and unplug it from the net. Apply the offline update that you find here:

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

Follow this steps and let us know.

I have every intention on buying an XboxOne, as I never cared for Playstation. This is the only thing that would deter me from that as I'd be unable to access over half of what the XboxOne does.

as per the other comments about the use of the external hard drive for the 360 I am in the update preview program which allows additional External hard drives to be used.I purchased the same Seagate 2tb external hard drive as per my xboxone but when I apply
the format on the xbox360 as per the instructions it replies with unable to format. Would like to know what external hard drives are compatible? I no the hard drive works as tried it on the xboxone after it would not format for the 360

my system has been updating everyday for the past week. Loosing game saves etc. How do I stop this?

You're xbox may have a hardware problem, I would assume a broken hard drive. What kind of updates are you encountering?
