    Unable to update privacy and online xbox settings


    I'm encountering a problem when I try to give parental consent for my child to create an Xbox profile.

    Shes 10 and likes to play Minecraft.

    However, whenever I enter my email to give consent via his Microsoft profile, I get the following message below.

    Is there something wrong with the site?

    When I try and download the battlefront beta it won't let me with the 0x8ca50004 error saying I need to change my privacy and online settings. Then I can't change it for some reason help!

    if that doesnt work you should try contacting xbox at 1-800-469-9269 and see if they can help resolve ur issue

    Same exact thing. It logs me out and back in and the changes never took place.

    I also can't get into the 360 online safety on our PC as well....24 hours into the Xbox and I'm sure of 2 things. Customer Support hires the least helpful people I've encountered in a "support" role and that this is not an intuitive or easy system.



    Hopefully I "get" it at some point...
