    Unable to update Minecraft on Xbox One S


    I am having a similar issue and I am using the Xbox 1 s, and I was able to Uninstall another game, but minecraft kept at the same percent, and wouldn't uninstall. There was no error code for this, and the updater didn't seem to know that it was trying to update something

    Hey DownfieldFir154! Minecraft - Xbox 360 Edition will not be updated to work on the Xbox One as there is a version already available for it. For the other games, updates should be the same on the S as with every other Xbox One console. Thanks!

    Can you update to bedrock without a physical version on xbox one s?
    If you have Minecraft: Xbox One Edition you should automatically get Minecraft Bedrock Edition for Free. Hope this helps!

    Yes, I do know that, but when I upgraded I was still able to play both Minecraft and Minecraft Xbox One Edition. But I when I accidentally deleted it Xbox One Edition I was unable to download it again. Is there a possible way to get back this owned game that was taken or not. I would really love to keep playing. Also on my Xbox One still has Minecraft Xbox One Edition so since it’s on my Xbox One, is there a way to take that game and bring it back to my Xbox One S? If that makes any sense.
