Unable to update/install game

I have the digital version of Halo MCC, and upon trying to install the last update I get error 0x87e0000 "Installation Stopped".

I have contacted xbox support 3 times and the issue hasn't been resolved, so they suggested I post here. I've tried doing an offline console update, using a wired connection, I even deleted the 70gb game and attempted to redownload and then got the
error again so I can't even install the game anymore. I borrowed a friend's disc version which will only work offline, if I bring the console online it attempts to update and then fails.

No other software seems to have any issues, I tested by downloading something from the store, also deleting the ODST DLC then reinstalling it, works fine. Just the Halo MCC won't work. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just don't get it, I'm guessing it has something to do with the xbox live alert that has been going on. But its very frustrating. I can appreciate the fact that they send out updates to improve the game, but we should be able to download them via computer
and then install them on our xbox if they are having issues

Man I bought CoD and that was crap so I returned it for this game yesterday.

I can't get past 59% installation

Im taking it back no NBA 2k for me this year…..

Between Madden NBA2k and CoD the video game industry has been awful this year

 

Hey there. Try canceling any downloads and heading into Settings, System. Make sure it says "No Update Available." If it says there is a system update, install that. If not, go to Settings, Power, Turn Xbox off. Unplug the power cord from the back of the
console for at least 5 minutes, then plug it back in and try the download again.

 

I too have had this error code after downloading the Xbox accessories app , it will not start and i have uninstalled it and re downloaded it a number of times

Thanks Mister Maka ,I have sorted it now ,I uninstalled it ,did a hard reboot and re downloaded it and everything is now ok.
