Unable to update games (Titanfall)

I am unable to update Titanfall to play it on Xbox one. Would the current service outage cause this?

Hi

Thought it was down to the Titanfall update last week but I'm wrong! Unable to get any sound on any of my Recorded clips on Upload. Tried several games, Titanfall and Forza 5 and still the same. Done a hard reboot and still the same, just hope this system
update today is going to resolve it!

 

Respawn: We Did Not Sell Titanfall to Microsoft

hairy raspawn said countless times ps4 is NOT next gen, therefore unable to run an advanced game like titanfall.

 

Also the error message that I receive is "

"There was a problem with the update

This game or app needs an update, but something went wrong For Help, visit

xbox.com/xboxone/update/help"

I followed the help directions but it still does not work. The only thing that that I have not done yet is :

"You can use the Xbox One Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool to troubleshoot a console that’s having trouble downloading the system update from Xbox Live. However, you should use it only after you have exhausted all other troubleshooting steps. The diagnostic
tool file is very large, and this troubleshooting process will take considerable time to complete.

I'm sorry to hear your having this issue, here's some things to try out before considering the offline update.

Titanfall Disc troubleshooting

-If you have the game on disc, try uninstalling the game, eject the disc, disconnect from the internet. Powercycle by pressing and holding the power button on the console for 10 sec. Attempt to reinstall the game offline. Once finished, reconnect to Xbox
Live and launch the game. It will tell you that an update is required, start the update.

Titanfall downloaded from market place troubleshooting

- uninstall the game, reset your console by pressing and holding the power button for 10 sec. reinstall Titanfall.

If none of the above works, then we can try to perform a factory reset on your xbox because there could be corrupted data for Titanfall.

 

Many thanks! It was quite a long process but the uninstall and reinstall of the game worked!
