Unable to update any videogame

Error code 4451-0000-D080-0200-8007-0570

I was on a contact call with Microsoft support earlier for 5 hours, to no avail. I have cleared cache several times, redownloaded the games, reinstalled system updates, power cycled, and have done every single basic form of troubleshooting in order to attempt
a fix.

However, nothing has worked, and none of support succeeded, but I was not contacted back later with more help as I was promised, over a week ago now. So now I am here, to seek aid.

I am unable to update any "Games with Gold" game downloaded from the marketplace. When I begin updating, the update immediately fails, giving me the previous error. However, it is not due to a faulty hard drive, as I have since then, installed more games
onto the hard drive; these games too, were unable to update. I am at a loss, does anyone know what to do?

HOWEVER, I am able to update games not affiliated with Games with Gold, such as Minecraft.

Unable to update any games

Hi Guys,

For the last hour now I have been attempting to download either the MCC or AC Unity update however after about 30min of pushing the try again button for both games in each of their "an update is required" screens and having an error page pop up every
time (even during several 10second hard rebots and router restarts)

Eventually I finally managed to have a page pop up which showed the size of the downloads and selected the install button. However how they are both in my download Queue and refusing to download with either a "Queued” message or a "Installation Stopped"
message and will not download no matter how many times I have pushed "Try installing again"

Is the server overloaded or something because all the tests I run (on the Xbox or otherwise) say my connection is fine

Any help would be appreciated

I think I am having the same issue. It is happening with the MCC update, and with Worms: Battlegrounds full game. I've seen MCC get up to 3% but inevitably they both end up saying "Installation Stopped!". Any help would be great!

 

Because this will not allow me to edit my comment, the games in question here are Deus Ex Human Revolution, and the newer downloadable, Supreme Commander

 

Have you changed regions recently? Sometimes that interferes with Games With Gold. Did you try redownloading your Xbox live profile?

Also just looked this up and you could try it:

Go to Setting > Network Setting > select wifi or wired > Test Xbox Live Connection > Update. The update will reappear once you test the connection and it will allow you to update it from there.

 

I have recently experienced that, unfortunately, no games will update, but I still can download any other content.

I have not changed regions, and I recently had to delete content from my account and reinstall the account due to corrupted files which I also removed.

By that, do you mean that I should test the connection, and then return to the game and update (not that there is an update available from the Test screen?) because I have attempted that, or to sign back into xbox live after entering the game offline. Neither
worked.

 

Did you try redownloading your profile and clearing your hard drive completely? Obviously back up any save data you to keep.

 

Unfortunately, I have a 250GB hard drive, so transferring that is a bit tough for me to attempt, if not impossible for me to do

 

Well your save data shouldn't be anywhere near 250 gigs. You can redownload everything else, games and dlc updates etc from your Xbox live profile.

Do you have any external USB drives you could installing the games on and updating from there?

 

Sorry, I thought you meant total save data. If you meant for the specific games? Yes, I have removed my account, and have deleted all data and redownloaded the games, to no avail.

I could attempt a USB, and will do so then

No, it doesn't work, because the game updates won't let me chose the download location, and I can't remove the HDD because the game is on it
