Unable to unlock achievements

For the past 2 - 3 years, I've been unable to earn any achievements. Even the easiest achievements that require you to complete the first level of a campaign in a specific game, or to click something on the in-game menus. Yes, I'm completing the achievement
objectives. This is all via my Xbox 360 console.

I tried contacting Microsoft Support about this issue a little over a year ago. I contacted three times. Over those three contacts, I was told to wait for 72 hours on each one, so for the final contact, I decided to wait for a whole year, yet nothing was
ever resolved. Microsoft Support notified me that they didn't even know the cause of this issue.

If I use my Xbox ONE, and utilise backwards compatibility, I can unlock achievements that way, but obviously not all games are backwards compatible, so this is still a problem for me.

On different accounts on my Xbox 360, achievements unlock just fine.





I went through various troubleshooting methods multiple times. I tried the following:





Power-cycling my console





Leaving my console unplugged for one day





Re-downloading my profile





Clearing the cache





Re-installing every game currently on my console





Installing every game to my hard drive





Deleting all other accounts on the console, leaving my main account on there





Left a game running for a couple of hours after completing an achievements objective





Changing my accounts password (I never expected this to work, but I was trying everything at this point)



Changing my accounts privacy settings, making sure they're all as unrestricted as they can be





Trying a different power cable





Trying a different power brick





Trying a different display cable (again, this isn't related to the issue, but I want to make sure that I've tried literally everything I can think of)





Trying a different hard drive







I even tried utilising my phones internet connection instead to see if it was network related



And finally, trying a different console all together

I went through everything above multiple times. Nothing worked.

That makes sense, but I really don't care, I got banned because Microsoft are acting closed minded and completely brainless, I will get it back no matter how long it takes.

Does this issue occur with all Xbox 360 game titles, or does it seem to only occur with a select few? Is your console currently connected to Xbox Live when you try unlock these achievements on the console?

In the meantime, we'd recommend reading over the steps listed in the

Achievement Unlocking Issues thread and filling out the survey located at the bottom of that page so that the proper teams are aware.

 

This issue occurs with all Xbox 360 game titles. However, only on the Xbox 360 console itself can I not unlock achievements. I've tried being disconnected from Xbox LIVE, and connected, but it's the same. I can unlock achievements for Xbox 360 games via
Xbox ONE backwards compatibility, so it's quite odd.

I was told to do that three times last year, and complied by filling out the form three times too. Not once did I receive a reply. I honestly don't see the point in filling out the same form over, and over again, which, in the end, brings me back to the
beginning of this issue.

That is definitely odd that this issue only seems to occur with one profile in particular. Just so that we are on the same page, you are able to unlock achievements on a different profile on the same console? Does your Xbox 360 console have an official Microsoft
hard drive inserted into the console?

 

Yes, it does. It's the standard hard drive that comes with the console. Not once have I even attempted to replace it.

 

I did that a while back. In fact, I went through all of them over five times a year ago.

In this case, we'd recommend continuing to work with the
Xbox Support Chat Team so that they can take a closer look into your account and further discuss your options.

 

I would do that, but the past three, or four times I've contacted them, I advanced through the same troubleshooting steps. They were the ones that referred me here specifically because they couldn't resolve the issue. It's odd how they can't resolve the
issue I'm having, and don't even know why it's occurring.

I'll just try contacting them again, and again over time. Hopefully I'll get somewhere eventually...

 

Same problem here. I have follow some of those steps, nothing works.
