    Unable to uninstall game


    My friend came over to my house and installed ark survival evolved on my xbox one (original 500 gb model) through his profile (digital copy) I can't uninstall it for some reason.

    DO I have to be signed into his account to uninstall it?

    I have game pass which should let me play it but when I try to launch it, it sends me to the homescreen of the console. IT is installed to my external hard drive.

    When I try to uninstall it, it does nothing.

    What do I do?

    Edit: I remembered how it got on the console incorrectly my friend reminded me that that I installed it from a free hour of game time thing they did a couple of months ago. Even then I could not launch it or uninstall

    The Zoo Tycoon demo. Where does the tile appear? In the main list with all the other games, or off to the right on a grey pane? If it's on that grey pane, then this is not a bug - this would be your owned content that is not currently installed on the hard
    drive, and works as your download history from which you can redownload any previously-purchased content.

    If it's in the main list, then I'm not sure what causes it or how to fix it. Namely, I have the same thing on my own console after one of the earlier system updates, and I know of a couple others with the same thing. It persists despite various things I've
    tried.

    I have done both these options but nothing happens after I select uninstall, also nothing happens when I click on the option to pause installation. Although, the installation of the update is finished as I can play the game
