Unable to uncapitalized my username.

I've contacted support and they've said that it would not work out on there system or would require me to do two changes on my username that would require me to buy a gamertag change.

Is there another way besides this? They have the tools to change inappropriate names.

Unfortunately the only way to change the capitalization is to change the tag to something else and then change it back. The system doesn't differentiate between things like capitalization and spaces, so if you try to change those in a gamertag, it thinks
you already have it set up that way.

I've tried it yesterday and today, but they were unable to verify my ownership in that account. It's clearly my name on the username of skype.

To be honest I find your concern strange, as I have been able to successfully change my gamertag from capitalize with uncapitalize with spaces to shrink version and then going back to capitalize with uncapitalize with spaces. I did not encounter any issues. So, in this case, we would recommend you to contact the Xbox support for this. Just making sure you had no issues with the specific gamertag you wanted back. Also please do double check if you had no issues with Xbox enforcement - Xbox Enforcement | Stay Safe.

Can I change my username?

Users who have a Mojang account or a Microsoft account can change their username for free at www.minecraft.net/en-us/profile. Click Change next to your profile name.

If you have an older account and you sign in with your username, you need to migrate to a Mojang account before you can change your username. Minecraft support is unable to assist with changing usernames as system is set up to be self-service.

How often can I change my username?

You can change your username once every 30 days. When you change your username, your previous name is saved for 37 days. This gives you an additional week to change back if you change your mind before your previous username becomes available to anyone else.
