Unable to sync data.

I played the online briefly last night, was able to connect no problem even though I was in a session by myself. Now when I try to load the game from the dashboard I get a message that says the data needs to be sync'd. Obviously this doesn't work and I am
given the option to try again or play in offline mode. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hello, Xbox are having some problems right now yes they are aware of this and are working on a fix.

The following are the problems: Accessing or retrieving data stored using cloud storage

Joining other Xbox Live members in online games

Managing friends lists and tracking what friends are doing

Sending text messages to other Xbox Live members

Unlocking achievements

Viewing achievements

Unable to sync data

Recently for every single app/game I attempt to open it prompts me to sync data. After like 30 seconds it tells me it has failed to sync.

Modem: **** TM822G

Router: Linksys WRT1900AC

Nat: Open

The only thing I could think of was my brother did turn his Xbox 360 on across the hall while I was in a session of GTA. I closed that session, played some campaign for 2 hours in Halo, then the error started when I attempted to load up GTA and Twitch (both
failed to sync many times). I then tried to play some Halo multiplayer and it also failed to sync.

Whats up?

 

I am having this stupid *** problem too. After trying to download gta 5 twice due to it stopping the *** installation half way through i finally got the piece of *** to install only for it to tell me that cant sync the *** data that never existing in the
first place because it was the first time i launched the game. So now i have to uninstall the *** and reinstall it again to see if i will ever be able to play the piece of *** game. The next generation of gaming is superb. *** YOU MICROSOFT

 

Haha well guess I'm not the only one then. I just saw on the support page though that people are having trouble accessing their cloud data. Now since I'm as technologically adept as your average turd, I'm not sure if this is connected but, wait and see if
they fix that problem first. Just in case. Good luck pal.

 

Yeah i just read that microsoft is incompetent and it is not gta 5's problem because i cant play far cry 4 either. Well done microsoft, well done.

 

Yeah, I have this issue too. Decided to wait till tomorrow so gave Dead Rising 3 a spin, only to get the same error message.

Tomorrow it is then....
