    Unable to switch Microsoft account for my Xbox gamertag


    So I have made a new MS account for my Xbox just today because my old MS account's email is too long to type in. However, I got the "Sorry, we can't change your Microsoft account right now" error message. What are some reasons why this error message appeared?
    Also does having money in my old MS account changes anything?

    Hi there,

    when was the last time you downloaded your profile to an Xbox Console, or is there any online currency left on the account?

    If the console was downloaded recently, be aware that you can only move a xbox live account to a different microsoft account after the account has been on a console for at least 30 days (without it being downloaded)

    Also currency on the account can have affect on wether it can be moved or not
