    Unable to stream from PC to Xbox One


    I am trying to record videos from my Xbox with sound, and apparently the easiest way is through streaming it through your PC. I've been trying to record stuff for hours, nothing has worked. I started with PC games, didn't work, and now I am trying Xbox,
    but neitherSmartglass or the app won't connect to the Xbox, it isn't listed. I typed in the IP address, I went to the support page that said how to fix it, didn't work, I watched videos, nothing has worked so far.

    FALSE ADVERTISING of XBOX ONE as a Media Center if one is unable to stream Music from their existing Music Libraries on Window PC. When will this be addressed?

    Streaming Media from my PC to my Xbox One

    I am unable to stream media from my PC (Windows 8) to my new Xbox One. Previously, I could stream media from this PC to my Xbox 360. All I needed to do was right click the media (in this case an MP4) and then select "Play to Xbox 360". The Xbox One is definitely
    on the network and I can do some control of the device using the Windows 8 Xbox One SmartGlass app.

    On the Xbox 360, this was done pretty much according to this forum article:

    Anyone have an idea why I can't stream media to the Xbox One?

    Hey Exaotic! Are the Xbox and your PC connected to the same network? Does your router provide multiple access points on different frequencies? Additionally, does the same issue occur if you use a wired connection with both the PC and the Xbox? Post back

    I'm unable to stream video from my PC to the Xbox One. I purchased 3 Xbox 360's and could stream video from my PC to all of them. Now my PC can't even see the Xbox One on the network and the Xbox One Video player doesn't see the PC. For a machine that
    is supposed to be a multimedia powerhouse and be the "One" box to connect to your TV, this is a huge oversight and disappointment.

    Anyone know how to get this to work? I want to view shared videos and images over the network and view them on the Xbox One.

    There isn't an option to stream from a PC to your Xbox One, but you can stream from your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC.
