Unable to start Dedicated Server

It's 2016 and we can't fix server issues?

For the past hour this is the ATTENTION screen that pops up EVERY SINGLE TIME a game type is selected in Halo 5 multiplayer online.

My NAT is OPEN. Internet speed is 23 download to 7 upload. Wired connection.

Figure it out, Microsoft! Your game and your servers.

I can't even get the game to start! It tells me unable to contact game server

COD GHOST - LISTEN SERVER = PLAYER HOSTED MATCHES = NOT DEDICATED SERVER = HOST LAG

The issue is not the server distance, because Im am pretty certain there is a dedicated somewhere near my location as when ever I play alone ... it automatically connects me to a dedicated server. But when I start playing in a party with people all over
the country. It forces a garbage listen server (home connection) on us, which isn't nessasarily the best option for ALL the people in the party. SO IT DOES, indeed become the worst option possible for the person who 1) doesn't like close to this particular
live server 2) Already has a a better dedicated server available, than any possible live server

if you have a party with people from all 4 corners of the country, only 1 person will have a good connection to the listen server and the rest will be lagging, because they have a dedicated server in their location, but forced to use some crappy listen server
which is much farther away

It might just be your search options. Have you tryed changing your search preference to expanded? please inform me if that helps

You do realize that Sony has had dedicated servers this current gen right? Albeit for their exclusives but name one 360 game that used dedicated servers. So to claim that Sony has absolutely zero dedicated servers and is unable to have them really doesn't
fly sorry

I'm running a non dedicated server from my computer and it's not ARK that's giving me the issue it's the app. I can connect to other games that are hosted from on dedicated servers but am unable to connect to instances created by friends and vice versa

Few people here saying cod doesn't run on dedicated servers they're half wrong because cod actually runs on dedicated servers on PC, though I wish Xbox 360 or consoles themselves could have dedicated servers like one person hosting a public lobby and players
joining to start up the match

Dedicated servers are a myth they started to get players to buy the dlc's.Truth hurts but....there it is.
