Unable to speak with party members

Hi there

(Couldn't find anything with the search.)

So with destiny I started gaming on my xbox (was before nearly PC only). I used the original headset from the box.

After some hours of solo I joined some guys and sadly I couldn't talk to them.

- headset is connected right I think (switched to green, after switching: the "speaking logo" is showing for a second, then disappear)

- I hear them all without problems (destiny has just the normal xbox party to talk)

- I can record voice messages, hear them and send to others.

So I asked google, got a tip that it could be in the settings, so I changed my security settings to adult (was custom)

Nothing changed, so I thought maybe the mic is not working. I bought a new one - same problem.

Got no clue what's wrong - hope you can help me.

Unable to speak in party chat

Since last night I have been unable to speak in party chat or game chat. I am able to hear all of my friends talking, i can send them voice messages so it is not the headset I am using. I do not have a kinect and it is most likely not connection/router problems
as this has never happened before. and nothing has changed. I did have a communication ban the day before it happened and when my ban finished it started this problem.

If anyone has any ideas as what the problem is it would be greatly appreciated.

Can't hear or speak in party.

I am unable to hear other members of a party, nor can I speak to them (the other members are on Xbox One.) I have uninstalled Teredo twice, and have enabled Windows Firewall and disabled my anit-virus. This is what comes up when I check the app's network

Trying clearing your system Cache, You can find out how by following this link:

support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

Also, try changing your power settings to "Power Save", this has worked for a few customers before.

i reported a message of a friend and now he is unable to speak in parties

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. Before I attempt to assist, I would like to clarify the error you are receiving. Please confirm when you are unable to speak/hear users. You mentioned that you can hear your friends when you join their party but are you unable to hear/speak to them when you attempt to invite them to a party? Or is it just two *specific* friends that you are unable to communicate with?

Ok, I will let you know that I have this issue, but will also let you know that this issue seems to be with audio output from the app as if it does not exist. I can speak through it which people in the party can receive as I have confirmed through party
members via phone, but I cannot hear any voice from members via app. Sitting here as I play games, speak with Cortana, speak with people & hear their voice through various speaking software. The only voice problem I have on whole system is from the App.
