    Unable to speak in party chat


    Since last night I have been unable to speak in party chat or game chat. I am able to hear all of my friends talking, i can send them voice messages so it is not the headset I am using. I do not have a kinect and it is most likely not connection/router problems
    as this has never happened before. and nothing has changed. I did have a communication ban the day before it happened and when my ban finished it started this problem.

    If anyone has any ideas as what the problem is it would be greatly appreciated.

    Party Chat Not Working

    Hey all,

    Just signed up as I got my xbox one today. Loving it so far.

    However has anyone figured Party chat yet? I can start a party and join the chat, but no one else in that party can.

    additionally if i join a party I'm unable to join the chat and get the message "Party chat cannot be started at this time"

    Any Ideas?

    its got me absolutely stumped

    I can't chat with friends

    When I join a party with a friend I am unable to speak as it says 'your privacy settings prevent chat with some people' all of my settings are changed so I am able to communicate with anybody online so why can I not speak to am friend? Any help please?

    Game chat inside Party game

    Once you switch to game chat, everyone in the party will be muted as you will be able to speak and listen to everyone in the game's lobby. Once you go back from game chat to party chat you will be able to speak with your party again

    This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

    I've been banned recently and now I'm unbanned but I'm still unable to speak in a party chat the little cursor is flashing as if I am talking but no one can hear me any ideas on whata wrong?

    Its sad how much mulitplayer gaming has changed on live over the years!

    For the people moaning about party chart even before party chat xbox already had private chat. I would rather be in private or party chat talking to people i know than listening to randomers there is nothing wrong with party chat. i think its a good feature.
    i think there are alot of people that would rather speak on the head set if it is friends or fam they are speaking to..
