Unable to sign into Xbox 360

So, my partner has been trying to log into his Xbox 360 and for some reason can't get into the account for the last day or two (has managed to sign into the other Xbox without an issue).

Normally, he has put the passcode in and it logs in after that.

The image below appeared on the screen. After going to the website (on his phone and with me helping him), nothing has worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues logging in to Xbox live. 0x8015DC03 indicates an issue with signing into Xbox Live or Microsoft accounts, often related to a suspended account or a problem with your Xbox Live profile.

One solution is to verify your Microsoft account security information:

Go to your Microsoft account and sign in with the Microsoft account (email address and password) that’s associated with your Xbox Live account.

Select Security at the top of the page.

Under Security contact info, select Update my info. Due to the sensitive nature of this information, the page will prompt you to receive and enter a security code. Select the phone number or email address where you want us to send the code.

If any of the phone numbers or email addresses listed as security information have the word Verify next to them, you’ll need to select that link to confirm that we have the correct information. The page will then send you a security code. Enter that code into the field provided, and then select Verify.

If you no longer have access to any of the email addresses or phone numbers that are listed, add a contact that you have access to and remove the ones to which you no longer have access.

Sign out of your Microsoft account, and then sign in again.

Try to sign in to Xbox Live again.

Hello, I'm Nicholas, an XBOX gamer who has the same questions!

This seems to be an ongoing issue with MS and Live servers that has been going on and off for the last few months... this is just the major outage part.

According to XBOX Support, Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and is working to restore functionality. This problem seems to be caused by live servers believing you are hacking into the account you are signing into.

In the meantime while you wait, you should strongly consider going to xbox.com/status and reporting this issue and also contacting MS by phone in your time zone tomorrow as this will escalate the issue inside the company!

Are you trying to sign in on a Xbox 360, or are you unable to sign in on the Xbox website?

If you are signing in on a Xbox 360, be aware that you might need an
app password instead of your regular password.

In order to help you better, we'd need more information on where you try to sign in, and what error message you get, or what exactly is preventing you from signing in.

I think its wrong that the Xbox 360 smartglass won't run I used that programme before the Xbox one came out and now I unable to sign or login the the app. It seems strange that the smartglass app for 360 is still downloadable and get I can to login in or
connect to the 360.....
