Discus and support unable to sign into my xbox one x in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; i have reseted my password and removed it from my xbox due to issues signing in and now that i have done that and im trying to resign back into it...     i have reseted my password and removed it from my xbox due to issues signing in and now that i have done that and im trying to resign back into it keeps saying my account already exist on this xbox i have hard reset my console couple times already and
    still wount let me sign in

    Same error code on my Xbox One X, when trying to sign in (0x800488FC); however, my Xbox One signs in just fine.

    Are you playing on Xbox One or PC?

    When you say you have Game Pass and gameshare with someone who has the game: Is he sharing his game to you, or are you using your "own" copy that you get via Game Pass?

    What I found during a visit from my nephews: I have two consoles and a PC. An original Xbox One in the living room that is set as my "Home Console". That was used with an account owned by one of the kids.

    On my Xbox One X I signed in with my own account, to unlock the game on the non-Home Console.

    As I tried to start the game on PC (with the same account I used on the Xbox One X) I was unable to do so as my account was already playing the game on the Xbox One X.

    Is it possible that due to Game Sharing someone else uses your account, or that the other someone is being signed out during a game session because someone else signs in with that account as well?

    Hi Soulless,

    There is no one higher we can escalate this to. All help that has been posted here is the correct troubleshooting. There is only so much we can do for one game that someone is unable to purchase. As I stated have had this myself with a couple backward compatible
    games. Black ops 2 for some reason I was unable to purchase on my Xbox one X, but was able to on a Xbox 360. Soon as I did it was available on my Xbox one X to install.
