unable to sign in

Discus and support unable to sign in in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Today, for the first time in about a week, I tried to play my xbox 360.     Today, for the first time in about a week, I tried to play my xbox 360. When I tried to sign into my account I got the error "An error has occurred while trying to sign in, try again later." I don't even get an error code. I can't even sign in offline,
    not even to access my saved games. My internet connection is fine. I have already restarted the router.
