Unable to Sign in to Xbox Live when playing Gears of War 4

Good day Support team,

I have an issue with my copy of Gears 4.

Everytime I launch the game and attempt to go online it just keeps rolling (trying) and goes on for hours endlessly. After a while it gives the error message, "You have been returned to the title screen. Sign in status change occurred."

The game only works offline and this is an incomplete gaming experience for me.

I would appreciate some assistance in this regard.

Thank you for keeping us updated. This issue may be attributed to the network connection. What is your usual download and upload speed on your computer? You can find out this information by visiting a
speed test website. Are you connected to your network through WiFi or an ethernet cable? Be sure to let us know the results!

I'm actually playing on a Windows 10 PC. I'm not sure what you have proposed would work for me.

Re-downloading the game s not an option for me a It took quite a while to get it downloaded in the first place (Internet isn't so great where I am)

Sorry to hear it. Please try powercycling your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps.

Other things to try would be to delete then redownload the game or a factory reset on your console. There's an option to keep installed games and apps and your saves would be safe on the Cloud.

The fine print says that "to qualify [for Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment] purchase and play Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by 31 December 2016. Must be 17+" -- Have you played Gears 4 on Xbox Live yet?
