unable to sign in to xbox apps and microsoft store

hit here. i cannot sign in to xbox apps or microsoft store..have added my microsoft account to my system and still no joy...it does not show any system error, it simply does not do anything when prompted to sign in to either app. I am trying to connect
my pc (windows 10). it had worked for a motnh and when my reoccurring bill went out it stopped working. any help would be very much appreciated... thanks

Sorry to hear it. Please try logging completely out of the app then sign back in. If you have an Xbox One or 360 please try the same thing there as well. For the 360 you may need to delete then redownload your
gamertag.

this is a bug that's happening, many ppl are being affected by it, it should be back to normal very soon, if it isn't, follow @xboxsupport on twitter for further notifications abt this bug or dm them or @ in a tweet

Thank you for the advise...I have tried this and no change.. I have repaired reset and re installed multiple times but no change. Anything else you think it could be?

This might sound silly but have you tried fully restarting your system? I get this sometimes and usually a full restart works.

I figured as much...I have done just about everything I have read on here so I'm hoping it is a fault on xbox or Microsoft's side... the thing that pressures me is the fact I've payed for 2months worth of gold and game pass but haven't been able to play
a game since the second week of my subscription.
