    Unable to sign-in to my profile. [NOT COMMON]


    The issue I'm having is that when I attempt to sign into my profile, not only does it no longer ask for the button combination I set for it, but it asks this "What's [My Name]'s password?" with a text entry box title "Your Password". Though the problem is
    that no keyboard shows up, and when I plug in a keyboard to enter the password I'm unable to enter it. I can only submit the password if the text entry box is empty, but it only leads to a text beneath the box saying "Try again. That wasn't the right password."
    I can only either keep submitting nothing in the box, or back out to the dashboard. I've seen nothing on this issue browsing Google results, so I'm guessing this isn't a common issue. The worst part is, is that this decided to happen after I literally just
    fixed the "Black Screen of Death" my One was having. So now it's just one problem after another.

    Currently there is an Xbox LIVE service alert. This has been affecting the sign on process of Xbox LIVE. You can check
    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status to see when service will be completely restored.

    whenever i load a game it immediately disconnects me from xbox live.

    whats more, i can't even sign into a profile. i will test my network, it will connect to xbox live, then i will try and sign into my Live profile and it will say "unable to connect to xbox live"

    Oh my god thank you so much, I cleared my storage cache and tried to sign in again and it actually worked! Seriously thank you so much you have no idea, you just made my night.

    Try these steps:

    1 – Restart your console.

    2 – Check for loose cables.

    3 – Plug out all the cables, and plug them back in.

    4 – Detach your external drive carefully, and place it back in

    If none of these steps help you that's a hardware issue and you should send your console for repairs:
