Unable to sign in to Microsoft Sudoku using Windows 10

I tried to log into Microsoft Sudoku tonight. I was able to play todays challenge, but my avatar would not sign in. Basically said the App I was looking for was no longer available. Similar problem last week with Microsoft Minesweeper and Jigsaw. Seems
like Microsoft could keep up with the glitches in their games.

One year later, none solution, unable to sign with Microsoft Sudoku and CAN sign with Microsoft Solitaire. Windows 10.

 

Sign is does not work on W10

I moved to Windows 10 and now I cannot sign in when starting Microsoft Sudoku.

I get the following message:

Choose another item

This in-app purchase item is no longer available in Microsoft Sudoku

Me Too Additional Info: Besides my avatar not being able to sign in, I get a diagnostic that "This In App Purchase is no longer available". Microsoft Jigsaw has the same issue. Other Microsoft games (solitaire, minesweeper, ultimate word) seem to login
just fine and I can login to XBOX directly. I am on the latest Windows 10 on a PC. I have performed a deinstall/install but that did not fix the issue.

 

While I was entering the above comment, the problem fixed itself! Go figure

 

Based on Gary Hugo's comment, I tend to think that the problem is in Microsoft's programming. I'm currently having problems with Jigsaw and Sudoku freezing for several seconds or a minute or more while the upgrade popup repopulates. I also assume, if I
were to upgrade to premium, the problem would promptly disappear.
