Unable to sign in on Xbox One

This morning I downloaded the latest update for the Xbox One. Now I am unable to sign in to use my games on the console

I got the error code 0x80070102. I did what a few suggested e.g. unplug the console, / eject game then power off & the hold eject button & power button together. None of these worked. Removed wifi network & reconnected (not able to hook up to modem with
cable as to far away from modem) - still haven't done factory reset yet.

Just to clarify what happens, I login using the keyboard on the tv screen then it takes me back to the home screen but up in top left corner it still says 'sign in'. I then sign in again and when enter i get the black screen with like 3/4 circle as looks
like trying to load but circle is frozen, only way out is to press home button on controller.

I have managed to login (obviously using this forum) but it won't work on the xbox one.

Another issue i have now facing me is when logged in on computer decided to change gamer tag as was free, doing this i seem to have now lost my game statuses and my Forza 6 game that came with the console (was redemption code that came with console).

Will be grateful for any suggestions (also if anyone has a phone number for xbox one support Australia which i can't seem to find any, will be great as well).

xbox.com/status shows issues with sign in services on xbox one.

Problem is that it won't even sign in locally so i'm unable to play offline!!

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

It looks like you may have created a new account instead of changing the gamer tag. Did you use the same e-mail address as before? Try logging into the console using the credentials of the old gamer tag.

 

Thanks for the replies. I have always used the same email address.

I removed the account as per link /advice I go to add account and enter microsoft email as it says to then next step is to create account NOT enter password.

If i try to add account and use email address get error saying email already in use, so the account is there think i am missing a basic step somewhere, which one it is am not sure.

The only thing i have done is change gamertag (for free).

The emails (my own & microsoft one i had to create) have been the same as has the password.

 

Think may have resolved it, when logging in message said to use microsoft email which is wrong as i logged in with personal email and my games seem to be there and has asked for update for Forza 6, will see how i go with rest of it but so far ao good. Thanks
