Unable to sign in on Xbox LIVE

hi, I have never used this forum, but I hope you guys can help. I am unable to sign into Xbox Live although my network is up and running properly. I have been given error code 0x87DD0006. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

 

Problems signing into live on the xbox1!

Same issue. I have a post on this as well. No response yet after the 1st hour. Very frustrating.

 

I am having the same problem. In Xbox Assist on the console, under the Fix tab there is a Service Status section and in there there is an Apps heading and it shows in there that there is a current problem with Xbox One Sign In.

It was only posted about 10 minutes ago and just says to check back for updates so I guess they are trying to sort it out

 

are you guys getting the same error code?
