Unable to sign in on the Xbox (Beta) app on Windows 10

I'm having this problem where if I try to click Sign In, nothing happens. No error message, no feed back, I just click Sign In and nothing happens. I tried the obvious things like restarting my computer and uninstalling/reinstalling the app. I also tried
to call the support number but they did not know what to do and told me I would just have to try asking on the message board. Anyone else having this problem?

It is strange because it still allows me to play the Game Pass games I have installed, so it recognizes my account somehow, but it does not let me download new ones. It also causes certain game to not work, I assume ones that try to access your account.
For instance I can play Void Bastards (Game Pass) just fine, but if I try to play Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden (Game Pass) or SteamWorld Dig 2 (Game Pass), they both crash with no error message when I press start on the title screen, I assume because it
is trying to connect with my account somehow and doesn't see anything there.

Not sure what to do with this! Kind of a bummer because I paid for game pass time and am not able to play most of the games I downloaded and cannot download any new ones until this is fixed. Any help would be appreciated.
