Unable to sign in/ contact

I've the same issue and unfortunately we are unable to sign in to move further with the issue when trying to contact Microsoft. Therefore the contact us option is obsolete.

I contacted them first, and they redirected me from Halo Insider Support to Microsoft Support as it is an issue with signing in but Microsoft so far has been unable to help.

It may appear that you have already changed your Gamertag once for free. You can see if you charged for the Gamertag change here:

account.microsoft.com/.../orders However, can you try to open the support link (
support.xbox.com/contact-us ) in in-private and see if it will allow you to chat with them that way without your information automatically being pre-generated.

Sorry to hear you are having issues purchasing content with your existing funds.

Are you trying to purchase on an Xbox console or PC?

If it's on the PC, try clearing your cache. You can also use a private browser or a different browser (Edge instead Chrome, or Firefox, etc).

To delete your cache from the Edge Browser:

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the Settings and More (three dots) button on the top-right corner.
3. Click on Settings.
4. Click on Privacy and services.
5. Under the “Clear browsing data” section, click the Choose what to clear button.

I suggest specifically deleting "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files". Note: It will sign you out of your saved log-ins and passwords.

To delete your cache from the Chrome browser:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More (three vertical dots)
3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
6. Click Clear data.

Sign into your account and try again.
