Unable to share game clips to activity feed

I was told by the Xbox rep to repost this as a new thread, so here goes:

Each time I try to share a clip (from OneDrive or my game clips) to my activity feed I get an error saing 'try again later'. This started about a week ago, or at least that's when I noticed it occuring.

At the same time my activity feed itself has disappeared from my Xbone dashboard. I can see what games my friends are playing, but no achievement updates or clips.

I have tried:

1. Logging out of my profile, hard reset and disconnecting the power for 10 minutes.

2. Also tried changing region to UK (from Australia), then US.

3. Power cycling my modem.

4. Changing my connection type from wired to wireless.

5. Going into Xbone bluray settings and clearing persistent settings three time then performing a hard reset.

No change

Strangely enough, I can see my activity feed in the smart glass app, and can post clips/updates using that method.

How do I get my activity feed back on my dashboard, and why can't I post updates or clips?

Capture Queue / Xbox DVR/ Upload Studio Problem?

Is auto upload clips enabled because if not then it will result in it not posting in the activity feed.

Settings - preferences - activity feed - share clips & screenshots automatically.

My activity feed is there but no clips I record and share go to the feed. Achievement are not going to feed either

Thanks Quimby, I can now post to the activity feed. I cannot however see my activity feed on the xbox one dashboard. How do I get it back? As said, all I can see is what my friends are playing and the leaderboard, there's no activity feed.

Glad to hear that the issue has been sorted! Now, let's figure out why you cannot view your Activity Feed. I recommend giving the following steps a try to see if we can get this issue sorted:

• First, remove your profile from your Xbox One console.
  
• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, wait 5 minutes.
• Power on your console and add your profile.
  
• Once your profile is added, from the Dashboard scroll to the right to the Friends tab.
  
• Under the Friends tab, select the Friends app.
• Scroll to the right, check to see if you are able to see your Activity Feed.

Give the steps above a try and let us know the results. Thanks!

 

Hi Quimby, that worked - thanks! Can you tell me why the activity feed is no longer visible on the dashboard? I.m sure it used to be and now I can only see it if I go into the friends app.
