    Tried to set up the xbox rewards system earlier today but was told I cannot do it as I don't have an xbox account but I've been a gold member for about 2 years now/

    Sorry to hear that you're unable to connect to your WiFi through your Xbox One S. Let's have you go through the

    Xbox One Set-Up Help     for starting over to connect to your wireless network first. After doing that and it's still unable to, please check out the article for Xbox
    Live Wireless Network     set-up as well.

    Sorry to hear it. If you are having issues setting up Rewards for your gamertag and are 13 or older then please post to the Rewards forums for assistance.
