Unable to set up console for remote features

Please restart and refresh everything by turning off your console completely. Hold the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Unplug it from the wall for about 1-2 minutes. Plug it back in, turn it on, and retry remote play.

Restart the Xbox App by closing the Xbox app on your phone. Reopen it and try re-adding your console.

This time is to restart your router. Turn your router off for 30 seconds and restart it. Ensure your console and phone reconnect to the same network.

And then recheck network settings because remote play depends heavily on network configuration. Please ensure both the console and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network. If your router supports dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz):

Connect both devices to the same band (preferably 5 GHz for better speed).

Next is t verify remote play is set up correctly. Do this on your Xbox console, go to: Settings > Devices & Connections > Remote Features.

Ensure Enable Remote Features is turned on.

Under Power Mode, select Instant-On to keep your console ready for remote play.

Then reconnect the console to the Xbox App by opening the Xbox App and go to Settings > Devices. Remove your console from the list.

Re-add your console by selecting Add an Existing Console.

Ensuring the pairing code matches.

After that is to update everything because an outdated software can cause connectivity issues.

Update Your Console. Go to Settings > System > Updates & Downloads. Ensure your console is running the latest update.

And to update the Xbox App. Check for app updates in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Kindly disable VPNs or Firewalls. If you're using a VPN on your phone or console, it may block the connection. Disable it temporarily to see if it resolves the issue.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, please connect your console to remote play on another phone, tablet, or PC to see if the issue is specific to your device.

To set it up, on your console, follow these steps:

-Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

-Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.

-Select the Enable remote features checkbox.

-Under Power options, select Sleep.

Open the Xbox mobile app.

-Select the My Library icon and select Consoles.

-Select the console you want to connect to and then press Remote Play on this device.
